Our recent activities include:
Woodfair 2009
On Saturday 26 September we participated in the Woodfair at Endcliffe Park organised by Sheffield City Council. A marquee contained a display of member's work while several members undertook demonstrations around the grounds. Art in the Gardens 2009
Over the week-end of 5-6 September we participated in Art in the Gardens at Sheffield's Botanical Gardens. Our prize-winning stall included displays of ceramics by Hanne Westergaard (these had been fired using wood supplied by members), a rowing boat by Handspring Designs (made as part of a community project) and a huge Conference Table by Bryan Frisby
Gallery at Ecclesall Sawmill
In July 2008 the Gallery moved from a porta-cabin into this beautiful timber-framed building (unfortunately the Gallery closed in May 2010)
Weston Park
During the early part of 2008 Working Woodlands members constructed two bridges for Sheffield's Weston Park based on the original Victorian designs
